Repairs to Powell Pump Station

In order to prevent damage to pump station in floods, contractors will be working to raise the pump house and equipment. During this project power will be disconnected and the station will be placed on by-pass. While on by-pass pressures will be lower than normal, but still within State requirements.
TXDoT By-Pass Project
January 15, 2019
The Texas Deartment of Transportation is working to complete the By-Pass from Hwy 31 west of Corsicana to Hwy 31 east of Corsicana. This project will tie in to Hwy 31 around SE CR 0070 at Pactiv. Chatfield WSC currently has both a 10" water main and an 8" water main that will be affected by this project. Chatfield WSC and TXDoT are working in cooperation to relocate these water lines to avoid conflict for now and in the future.
